Chapter 3 - Rational Functions (summary)

Hello Period 3 Advanced Functions class! We'll have a test in April 11 2013 about Chapter 2 and 3. It's a day before OSSLT. I know it's hard and kind of dilemma which one we should study, Advanced Functions or OSSLT. Well, what we can do is to manage our time.

I found videos which summarize the whole chapter 3. You guys may want to use them to help you study. I think watching the videos is better than reading the textbook because we can save our time. But, it depends on you guys. :)

Actually, I don't really like the voice of the guy who teaches on the videos because sometimes he doesn't really speak clearly and kinda has no spirit.  Still, his videos and effort help us! I appreciate it so much :)

3.1 Reciprocal of Linear Functions
3.2 Proportionally and Rate of Change
3.3 Reciprocal of Quadratic Functions
3.4 Rationals of the form (ax+b)/(cx+d)
3.5 Oblique Asymptotes and Special Cases
3.6 Solving Rational Equations and Inequalities with Technology
3.7 Solving Rationals Equations and Inequalities with Algebra

Or you guys can take a look to this website : Paul's Online Math (Rational Functions' Note)

Hope these things can help you!! :)

Chapter 3 - Reciprocal Functions

Hi guys, I found making a graph of reciprocal function from an equation and creating an equation of reciprocal functions from a graph are pretty confusing. But, I just found these videos which can help you to understand them.
These videos are very useful. Please check them out! :)
